EVOLUTION No widely known theory of Evolution includes
the influence of cosmic particle incursions on Earth's life processes.
The regulating activities of the Magnetosphere have
also been overlooked. The quantized spacings of extinctions mandates
the intervention of cosmic shockwaves , also instrumental
in diverting meteorites into Earth's path. Furthermore,
life-sustaining elements are injected during renewal episodes . EXTINCTIONS Cosmic particle shockwaves were probably the predominant cause of extinction episodes throughout the history of developed life. Postulated single causes like meteorite impacts usually followed on after a long quantized sequence of resource depletions. CLIMATE An understanding of the vagaries of climate will remain incomplete unless the influences of cosmic waves are included in models. The major temperature determinants are the insulation values of the atmospheres above the two polar regions , which vary according to the damage inflicted by incident cosmic showers. Ice ages occur when cosmic particle showers are intense, and warm periods are promoted by low cosmic particle intensities, such as at present.
